Definitely not the fastest machine- apps (such as firefox) will take a while (20sec?) to open, especially the first time after starting the computer. After apps are open, usability is good. Websites load decently fast. Completely functional for a patient person.
Due to the low amount of RAM, this is running a linux OS called Zorin Lite (Education Edition.) Benefits of linux are: free software, no viruses, no bloatware.
THIS WILL NOT RUN WINDOWS PROGAMS, however there are linux versions of most programs, or alternatives available that will work. All are available for free via the linux software manager.
